This item is shipped unpainted, no stain and no sealers. Shipped in its natural state to age gracefully. Wood is a natural element and no two boards are alike. As this is a handmade wood item, please keep in mind that all wood pieces are unique in the grain appearance, knots and coloring (some wood is lighter or darker) giving each a unique and beautiful look. With this being said the angel you receive may have more or less knots and the grain pattern will vary from board to board. Also, these angels are rough cut and are not smooth.
